HOW TO TELL IF YOUR PARTNER IS 'THE ONE'
HOME

Everyone starts out a relationship thinking that this time they might have found the one.
That perfect mate to share your heart, life, and love with; the one to grow old beside.
But, now you've been dating for a while and that initial "puppy love" has worn off.
So, how do you tell if he or she is really the one for you?

Check this list of the top signs that your partner might just be the one!

Friends
You want to introduce this special person to your friends, and when you do, everyone seems to be comfortable.
Your partner does not demand you end all your friendships and does not seem jealous of them.

Family
You may cringe at the thought of your significant other meeting your family, but once the big day comes, it goes smoothly.
He or she charms your siblings, impresses your parents, and everyone is relaxed. You can tell that the day was a success.
Your family approves!

Forgetfulness
You forget about things that don't include your significant other. Hanging out with friends is second best, and being
alone a distant third. You'd rather be with your partner doing just about anything. You also forget about those old girl
or boyfriends; they just don't have much significance anymore. Even the sting of breaking up is gone, now that you've
found your current partner.

Trust
You feel comfortable talking about personal matters and really opening up. You can let him or her take care
of important matters in your life and you know you don't need to worry.

Anger
You get mad when others put him or her down, or are insulting in any way. These insults can come from family,
friends, or perfect strangers ... it doesn't matter. You get hot under the collar.

Changing
You suddenly want to cook 5 course meals, even if you've never cooked before. The microwave no longer
appears to be the only kitchen appliance you will ever need, and candles with every meal just feel right. You may not
have cleaned much before, but now every bit of you wants your place to be spotless to make a good impression on your
special someone. You are changing just because you know this person.

Concentration
You've become woefully inadequate at concentrating at work and/or school. People frequently ask you
what's wrong, and why you have that faraway look in your eyes. In reality, it's because you were daydreaming about when
you will see your partner again. You can't wait for that event, even if it's only an hour away. He or she fills your thoughts and you
decide you like it that way.

Chemistry
Much of your waking time is spent thinking about your partner, and you can't seem to go anywhere without trying to buy a
small token of your love for him or her. You can sit and stare at each other in comfortable silence, no words need be exchanged.
Your heart beats faster when you think of your partner, and sometimes you actually begin to sweat. When you close your eyes, you
can picture every nuance of their body. The chemistry between you threatens to start it's own chemistry lab, there is so much of it.

History
You both are interested in your respective past histories. Neither of you are turned off by the bad things, and you both are
comfortable with all that's happened before you met. You no longer feel the need to be secretive about all those horrible blind
dates, and you can actually laugh about most of them.

Future
You find yourself wondering what married life would be like with this person, and the thought doesn't send you into a panic attack.
You wonder what your kids would look like, and how you'd be as parents. You imagine yourself 10 years down the road still
with this person, and can't stop smiling.
